how do i link my page to the same page but changing the content? for example, on Lissa's site, when u click one of the links on the menu, the menu stays but the content changes, how do i do that?

Lissa uses SSI (http://www.lissaexplains.com/html6.shtml), and I think you are refering to is her sidebar. Basically she has the html/code for her sidebar by using SSI on everysingle page, and so it is seen on every page.

Just make copies of the exact same page. Change the content, but keep what you want.

for the page anchors, what do i put for the code word?

just make sure the word matches in the anchor and in the link. also, if you have multiple anchors, make sure they are all different.
