Hi! ok, so i got this domain name thing from one2host.com, and i have no idea how to do stuff with it or anything? I e-mail one2host but they didn't e-mail me back (it was a long time ago, too). suggestions or any form of help will be helpful, thanx!

aslo, the ftp thing that i downloaded doesn't log me in!

You have to email your host and get the details for usage there. One thing I have to ask though is did you just buy the domain or did you get hosting as well.......? They are seperate things and if you only have a domain and no hosting then it's pretty useless to you...

You need to speak with your host, theres no other way around it...see if they have a support forum or anything, if not youll just have to keep mailing until you get a response.

Also another way to tell is the price. =) if you paid very little more thank likely you just got the domain (I think depending on the name they can be about 20 dollars for a year)......hosting is much more expensive and is monthly.

have you gone to internic (http://www.internic.com/whois.html) to see if you actually have the domain name? if you do have the domain name just find another host, these guys look like creeps. i called there supposedly "24/7" 800 # and a recording came on referring me to there website.

once you find another host they should able to transfer registrar and dns (take care of everything) for you. make sure you have a working phone number and what nots before you decide :)
