i know how to ban ip addresses, but how do i find out my own ip address and other people's ip addresses?

go to the command promt use the following
ipconfig - (your ip)
ping 'www.domainName.com' - (other ip)

To find out other's you need something that will record them, like a comments system or guestbook.

goto windows/winipcfg.exe to find out your IP, and like kittycat said, check on a guestbook or forums

just keep in mind that your IP address will change every time you sign on to the Internet with most dial up ISPs :P

thats also why banning IPs sometimes doesnt work to well, because if its someone with dial up you're trying to ban, they wont always have the same IP, and if someone else that happens to get the IP you ban when they sign on, they won't be able to view your site :P

www.signmyguestbook.com is a GOOD one. It tells the IP of the people who posted.
