How do you make website layouts LOL?

There's many ways to create a layout. You could start off making a design with a graphics program, such as Photoshop or PSP. Then you can start coding, which you will have to decide which is best. Whether you want to use frames, divs, or tables, its up to you. I suggest reading through Lissa's site to get an idea of what you want to do exactly. Also you can search for tutorials on how to make a layout using a specific program.

if you are using FP, then usually it is just a matter of insert this there and that here sortof thing.

the idea behind lissa's site is to learn the coding and go beyond such bad webpage editors.

I used to use frontpage, then just started using notepad. I find it is much more flexible to do it that way.

But if you want to use frontpage, then it depends on what kind of layout you want to do. I had trouble with frontpage, so the only advice I could give you is on frames, and frames aren't the best kind of layout to do.

the link that PB&J gave you is for Photoshop, which in my opinion is actually better than Paintshop Pro. But, if you want PSP, then here is the link to their trial download.
