Tuesday was the strangest day...i'm too tired to really explain it all now so i'll do the quick version...
I dyed my hair on Monday night, by Tuesday morning my entire face and head was a total mess because ive had an alergic reaction to something and i'm very poorly now and full of medicine, i won't post pictures of that as its pretty nasty...but theres some on my site if you really wish to see.

At about 3pm my mum told me theres smoke coming from up the road..

The massive mil building that makes car care products (so lots of chemincals) was on fire!
http://www.``````````````/manked/fire1.jpg

At some point all the houses near by were evacuated...if you look at the pictures youll see that the place was right next door to a petrol station and the mil itself was holding 60 thousand litres of ethanol in drums just outside it!

After a while there was a MASSIVE explosion and firebomb (there were 100s of little explosions in the meantime, chemical drums and cars going up and stuff) but this was huge....
http://www.``````````````/manked/fire2.jpg

Cue the whole front of the building collapsing! (boy did the earth shake when that happened!!)
http://www.``````````````/manked/fire3.jpg

Similar story from behind, we went round there and this is the building on fire when we got there....
http://www.``````````````/manked/fire4.jpg

and this is it moments later when the whole of the top 2 stories at the back came down...
http://www.``````````````/manked/fire5.jpg

I have literally about 100 more pictures, those are just a few off my boyfriends camera phone...my dad has loads on his digicam and me a bunch on my phone (but i'm too poorly to grab them yet)

Ok so bare in mind i have this manked up alergic thing going on...theres a massive chemical fire that will possibly blow up everything in a 10 mile radius....and then it starts snowing!!

We've had about 6 - 8 inches, which for England....is a lot...again i have 100s of cool pics of the snow but i can't be bothered getting them as most are on my dads digicam so here is just a handful from my boyfriends camera phone and my webcam...

from early Tuesday morning....

From today....

So yeah, a pretty hectic Tuesday was had and it aint exactly calmed down since!
I'll be posting more pics as and when i can be bothered i'm sure!

must be pretty scary to live next to an exploding factory. It reminds me to a few years ago not far from here a fireworks factory exploded in the city. although i live 20 km from it we could see the smoke. it killed 21 people and destroyed a whole city district. those things shoudn't be builed near were people live :(

Oh my gosh. That fire was huge! I hope no one got hurt. Aww sorry about your reaction. My sister was allergic to fruit for a while... but thankfully she got over it. We all used to joke and be like, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away... oh wait..."

Oh yeah, i should have mentioned no one got hurt...they got all the workers out of the actual mil and the surrounding petrol station and garage very quickly and the 2 main roads were closed off for about 20 hours and they evacuated all nearby houses, so everyone was as safe as its possible to be in such a situation!

edit: I'll have to check with him Lindsay, not sure what it is...i think its a samsung though.

I was asking myself that the whole time, lol. Well, that's good that no one was hurt or killed.

As far as the allergies go, it's pretty common. I was using some face wash a few years ago, and it was fine for a few days. Until I woke up one SCHOOL morning and my face broke out much like yours did :( I know, it sucks. I hope the medicine makes you feel better soon. The way you described your pictures made me think your face was REALLY bad, but it's not "nasty" as you stated.

Aww, starlet, I feel for you...I have v. sensitive skin and I break out in rashes very often....I hate it!! Hopefully you'll be able to get something to make you feel a little better...
But as for the fire and the snow on the same day, now that is peculiar. I'm glad nobody got hurt; a year or two ago a cheese deli place burned down pretty close to my place, and it's just scary...
Maybe the snow will cheer you up..?

Yeah they are all fine, bit of smoke damage and stuff but none of those set on fire...it was some cars right next to the building that went up!

Gee, your snow pics look all too familiar. I live in Rochester, NY, and that would be considered a light amount of snow, or normal for November. Sorry about your allergic reaction. Glad no one got hurt in the fire.
