How do CHMOD on Windows XP I've looked but all I can find is stuff for Windows 98. Help? (BTW I wanted to CHMOD a .cgi file and I am not using tripod!)

Umm .. upload your file, get your FTP proggram, right click on the file and there should be a CHMOD option. And the rest, i have no need to explain.

:lol: You know what the problem was I had Windows Standard and not proffesional and that doesn’t come with WS_FTP (Starlet, you should mention that on your tutorial because you can get people confozooled!) the service people gave me a WS_FTP download thanx anyway

Hm... I'm pretty sure that you can download WS_FTP from the internet. Just do a google search on it.

Ummm zanger i said some one already sent me the WS_FTP program ;)

all the same, WS_FTP_LE is a free download on the net cause that's where I got mine ;)

You dont need any ftp programs for my tutorial, thats the point ;)

Um... I'm not too sure about this, but maybe your host doesn't support the CHMOD ability. It says on my program that the host has to have UNIX.
