Does anyone know why when I add an html code for adding colour to a text it stays black?

What is the code that you are using? The proper code for chaning the color of a text in html is <font color="hex#"> text </font> with the bolded part being what color you want.

nevermind I forgot to put the </font> at the end of it to close it haha. Thanks for trying to help anyways!
