Does anyone else just looooove that show?
I just can't get enough of it.
If you don't know it, this is the idea:
Two guys are putting all sorts of popular myths to the test. First they try to recreate the myth, if that doesn't work - the myth is then 'busted' - they try to recreate the end effect of the myth, often a 'big boom'
It's pretty funny, although sometimes they bite off a little bit more than they can chew.
My favourite is the episode with the ducks that just won't quack to jamie and Adam.

I love that show! My boyfriend watches it all the time. I love how Jamie & Adam are always fighting with each other, they never get along. I actually don't like Jamie very much. He's so uptight all the time, and is always rude to Adam. I love Adam though, he's always having fun. It's a great show!

I just love them both. They act like an old married couple, fussing all the time. As for Jamie sometimes being rude to Adam - I dunno, I think it works both ways. Jamie seems to be a bit more intelligent (though they're both pretty smart). Their constant arguing is one of the things that makes the show so much fun to watch hehe.

Although i don't always watch it.. i love the program

I used to watch it all the time, but I no longer watch TV as much as I used to. I LOVE that show, though; esp. since I like reading myhts and urban legends. :D

i love it too,except the one with the daddy longlegs....

it's a shame discovery never will show the 2nd season of occ overhere,they keep rerunning the same thing over and over again......:-(

My husband and I watch that show sometimes. The one that stands out in my head tho is the one where they disproved the myth about sticking metal in microwaves. When I was a kid, my mom yelled at me, and then SPANKED me for almost leaving my spoon in my bowl that I was about to microwave... And all this time, there was nothing to worry about...

We don't watch it allll of the time, but I have seen it. I don't love it, but it is a...umm... fun "educational" show to watch. ;)

I like that show, I watch it whenever I catch it on.

Trying to re-enact a ship sinking to see if it would pull you down, seeing if eel skin wallets de magnetize credit cards, seeing if you would be electrocuted if you went to the bathroom on the train tracks in a storm, etc..

The results are always interesting :)

i don't always watch it but i enjoy it when it's on, the things they don't do! Goes from funny to nasty!!

Yes, the get a little crazy with the explosives, lol. Good tv.

one episode they were investigating the myth that eating poppy seeds can make a drug test show positive, so they were eating poppy seed bagles (sp?) etc. - you'd think that myth was busted, but it wasn't, the test DID show a positive result, for hours afterwards.
So if you ever have a drug test for a job interview, the army or anything else that matters, DO NOT EAT ANYTHING WITH POPPYSEEDS.
That was probably the one that amazed me the most (I think they were amazed at the outcome too).
Some myths are just plain silly, but some are quite interesting. However, I mostly watch it because I just enjoy their constant arguments and the stupid things they do from time to time, it's definitely my favourite show at the moment.

The one I remember the most (because it was the first episode), was when they did the experiment with the coin dropped off a tall building.

Oh, and once again, blowing things up is always fun :)

I liked the one where they built a boat out of raincoats to see how and if three prisoners had escaped from Alcatraz.. turned out they could have made it, was quite interesting! :D

That was a VERY interesting episode indeed! that escape was definitely plausible. I loved how Adam and Jamie had to squeeze through the air ventilation holes, and how they both struggled to get through, I thought Jamie was having a heart-attack there for a minute hehe

i haven't seen that one but seems interesting.

I like where they use buster for their experiments.

And they are SO dissapointed when things don't blow up..LOL

I just watched a new episode a few hours ago and another dead pig was used. *gags* It wasn't as bad as the car thing, though.

Poor Buster. What hasn't been done to him? :lol:

I agree, the Alcatraz was interesting and highly educational.
