I just bought my new webspace at dreamhost and I'm used to using the geocities file manager...

I got everything started www.redkaven.com

But now I wanna use a subdirectory for a different site www.redkaven.com/xxx/

I uploaded all the files to the xxx directory, but nothings coming up when I go to the URL.

What am I doing wrong?

Do I need a index file in the subdirectory too? I do have one, but nothing is working. Should I not have a index file in teh subdirectory?

I've never used subdirectories before....

Thanks in advance,

I'm not sure about dreamhost but I'm pretty sure it's standard for all subdomains that they are in the following format.....

www.subdomain.domain.com .........

Sub-Directory, not Sub-Domain....

www.redkaven.com/xxx/ = xxx = sub-directory.

www.xxx.redkaven.com = xxx = sub-domain.

I need to get the sub-directory to work.

I got it fixed now....

It suddenly dawned on me that the subdirectory wasn't listed in the main directory.

lol, what an idiot.
