I get this error on the pages of my site where I use MySQL (Coppermine, guestbook etc.):
MySQL said: User 'reese' has exceeded the 'max_connections' resource (current value: 3600)
And I can't login to phpMyAdmin.
I know I should contact my host, but what does this mean? Did I use the database for too many things or ...?

Thanks!

Generally it means the mysql is overloaded (too many people trying to use it), usually on your hosts end...give it an hour and it will have probably fixed itself...if not contact your host and ask them when it will be fixed etc.

I thought that was the problem too, but it's been like this since yesterday. I'll email them.

Now that is weird... I emailed them, and the said the problem was that the password of the database was a different one than the one in the source.
But it's been working for a month and I didn't change the password. Oh well...

Strange indeed! Did you check/fix the problem now?
You should ask them how the password would change by itself, sounds like a made up excuse to me!

They changed the password to the one in the codes, so it's now working.
If something like this happens again, I'm sure I'll change. Right now, I'm happy I can add pics to the gallery. :)
