View Full Version : My First Real Flash Thing
Monkey Bizzle 01-26-2005, 11:41 PM I am taking a class in Macromedia Flash as part of my multimedia degree. We have made a few dumb things so far to show us how to use some of the different features in Flash but last night in class I made my first real "thing." we had to make a banner for a video game called "Night Stalker." Normally I don't gloat over things that I do on the forum but my teacher was rather impressed (or so he said) so I thought I would share it with you.

Lenkid 01-27-2005, 12:29 AM Very nice. Its a tad choppy, but once you learn more in flash there are ways to fix it.
Munchkin 01-27-2005, 12:31 AM That's really cool, LindsAy :) I want to learn Flash, but I've been too lazy/busy to learn it.

can you elaborate? i appreciate your opinion but I don't really know what you mean when you say choppy? :) like the scenes don't flow together?
I think it needs some sort of sound but we haven't learned how to put sound in yet.
salomeyasobko 01-27-2005, 03:12 AM thats so cool!! good job! i've tried to do flash before, but i always got really lost/confused so i sorta gave up  i think Lenkid means that the animations don't flow entirely smoothly. i think the quality is really good, but i suppose it's possible to see what he/she's talking about. i still think it's awesome, though! :)
Monkey Bizzle 01-27-2005, 03:22 AM Flash is totally confusing! There's so many steps involved and so many things to remember. It's amazing these people who create flash stuff that just learned it from scratch... Macromedia Director is another program that we are learning which is like Flash but you are more limited as to what you can do. But if you just want to make simple animations, then Director would be the way to go. It's simple enough that you COULD teach yoruself without getting confused.
petrianna 01-27-2005, 03:50 AM Awesome! You know, if you create a website/webpage you better put it on to impress others! :flower: :flower: :flower: :flower: :flower:
