I have a big problem with my sound system on my computer :(. I take some extra courses online and I'm supposed to record my voice of some of the work and send it to the teachers. well everytime i record something no matter how high the volume on my mic and computer is i dont hear a thing! i checked my properties and in the 'recording' part on the Microphone the little box on the bottom is selected and the volume is all the way down. I tried to change it by putting the volume lever all the way up and selecting something else but it doesn't work. it only works for a lil bit when i can hear my recording again but when i dont hear anything anymore i check my properties again and it seems that the mic box was selected and the volume is all the way down again like its a default.

is there a way of selecting any of the other ones as default instead of Microphone coz this is driving me crazy :(? thanks in advance!!

nevermind, I think i found the default properties ;)
