I have just figured out Maps, and I have a question. Is there anyway to make the picture a background and also be able to use the picture as a map?

no, an image map cannot be a background. it must be an actual image on the page

Then how do people make the image look like a background like..Hm..Okay, go here:

Then go to site, then to Layouts of the Past. Scroll down and then go to Bluer Than Blue and click on it. Do you see how it's a background with an inline frame, with links next to it?It looks like they're using maps, how did they do it?

that's probably just an image map placed at the bottom of the page...
