Good day,

I've created an autorun CD, on my Athlon 1.6 mhz w/Windows XP & it works fine. I tested it on a PIII 900mhz w/Windows XP & it worked perfectly. I then tested it on my sisters PIII 600 mhz w/ Windows 98 & it didnt start up. I had to manually go to "My Computer" & run the file. Would anyone know why this problem would occur, and is there a website or tutorial that would help me with this?

Thanks you

Not entirely sure but it could be due to the different windows. Lots of things that work on XP don't work on other versions of windows and vice versa.

Well with new windows comp's there are new programs and sometimes they dont work on older comp's, it depends what kind of computer you make it in and use it in. Or you can always contact the people who made your comp they probably have a wider range of knowledge about this

I believe it has more to do with hardware and hardware settings. I'm pretty sure that you can disable the autorun feature of the drive on the hardware itself. also, some models (particularly older ones) might not support it (if I'm correct in remembering that it's hardware related :P)
