How come mods have a Green name but others have a Blue name?
Is there a differance in what they do?

Is there a differance in what they do? maztrin 01-12-2005, 09:23 AM maybe its so that u can tell which people are mods are who arent! its quite common on most forums aerith86 01-12-2005, 10:34 AM No, I know what you're talking about. Some mods have green names and some have bright blue ones, not like the colour the regular posters have. I think it's to tell the mods from the junior mods, but I'm not 100% sure. Makar 01-12-2005, 11:31 AM I think it's to tell the mods from the junior mods, but I'm not 100% sure. Correct. Junior mods are green, regular mods are [light] blue. And admins are pink. :) Pink4eva 01-12-2005, 01:49 PM But some Green ones are not Jr.Moderators:geek: MaGiCSuN 01-12-2005, 02:28 PM Only "kittycat" has that title "moderator" there. The other's all are jr. Moderators that are green in username :) it is true though, green = junior, blue = moderator, pink = admin Love, Mirna Monkey Bizzle 01-12-2005, 03:37 PM just to satisfy my curiosity, what is the difference between a junior mod and a regular mod? how come all mods aren't created equal? LOL jazzberry 01-12-2005, 03:41 PM junior mods are under 18 I believe aviegrace 01-12-2005, 03:43 PM junior mods are under 18 I believe But.. I'm turning 19! I always thought Jr.mods means less responsibilities LOL, actually I'm not sure  Monkey Bizzle 01-12-2005, 03:49 PM I always thought Jr.mods means less responsibilities LOL, actually I'm not sure  i thought that as well. sometimes a JM (:)) will post in a thread saying that it will be closed, but it's not closed, and then one of the actual mods will close it. aviegrace 01-12-2005, 03:54 PM i thought that as well. sometimes a JM (:)) will post in a thread saying that it will be closed, but it's not closed, and then one of the actual mods will close it. Each of us have 'mod power' only at the forums we are 'in charge of'. (if that makes sense lol) It's all stated here (http://lissaexplains.com/forum/showgroups.php?) Marianne 01-12-2005, 04:07 PM you are mistaken for a younger mod, Avie, that's all, you ought to be blue ;) Sphere 01-12-2005, 05:48 PM you are mistaken for a younger mod, Avie, that's all, you ought to be blue ;) and vice versa for me actually :) Monkey Bizzle 01-12-2005, 06:51 PM so then, all mods have the same powers but the colors are just young and old then? Lissa 01-12-2005, 06:57 PM Oh dear, you shoulda told me that :o I'm so unobservant (sp?) :buckt: Marianne 01-12-2005, 07:03 PM so then, all mods have the same powers but the colors are just young and old then? young and not as young - how does that sound? Sphere 01-12-2005, 07:07 PM young and not as young - how does that sound? lol Pink4eva 01-13-2005, 10:24 AM Jr.Moderators are under 18 (Green) but only mod the borads they are mods on? Moderators Over 18 (blue) same goes for theese. Super Moderators mod all boards on the forum like admin but have less powers. MaGiCSuN 01-13-2005, 03:34 PM Nope, even blue ones have limited power. I myself have no power in the javascript forum or the advanched forum for example and i'm blue :) Lissa has divided mods into the forums, in that way some people help in the parts they are advanched in, like sphere does for flash and cherchez for the spanish forums since she speaks that very well and is able to help there the best she can. Some mods have power in each forum, but like said before you can see it here where the mods have powers in: http://www.lissaexplains.com/forum/showgroups.php? Yea i know about all the only modding groups you are mods on but Super Moderators have power in every board because they are Super Moderators. |
