I've been dying to learn how to do this, I see this done on avatars, icons, buttons, etc. How do they get the image to move up like that? What effect? Here's the link to what I'm tlking about:

not sure what program you want this to be done in but you'll either need Imageready or AnimationShop (depending what you use).

I guess they made the whole big image from the whole person, then make the button. Then put the image in the button and save that part, move the image up a bit and save it again, then move it again and save it again. Offcourse not with "save" but with "save as" otherwise you'll be stuck in one image in the end again :P In that way you get the different images, you'll put them together in an animation program and there's your button :)

so you'll have to see each movement as a seperate image. It's basically making all the images seperate, and then put them together.
