First off, please redirectme to an appropriate forum if I am posting this in the wrong spot, thanks.

I am pretty new to web design. I'm ok with HTML and good at graphics but getting to the point. Many people get upset that their screen resolution does not view certain websites correctly. Is their any way to make it look good on all resolutions withought me having to learn new complex codes?

If this is not possible, what screen resolution would you recomend I build on?

800x600 is the best to do but you don't have to. You can also use tables and set them to a percentage in width although it may look cramped in one and spaced out in another...
