I have an Alxnet guestbook. Unfortunately, you can only disable HTML if you are a premium subscriber. But there is someone who keeps posting redirecting links to XXX sites. I was wondering if there was a way or a code that I can disable the HTML for a textbox. Does anyone know a code that would disable HTML in textboxes? Thanks in advance.

Do you have the full code to your page? Like did you code the page?

Yes, I did code the page. & yes I have the full code to the Guestbook input boxes. AllI need is a code that will disable HTML.

edit: guess alxnet has changed then .. lol

i personally don't think you can with the free membership because you can't come to the html codes from the guestbook itself. so it's either find a guestbook that can disable html in a free account or just keep this and keep the problem :S

I know it is possible, I have seen it done on www.outwar.com (I hate that game)

Could you possibly ban the person/people that are posting XXX site redirects?? It SHOULD give you there IP address....

I have tried that. It must be a bot or something, because he/she is still allowed to post.

i can't find any guestbook on that site so i'm not sure what you mean but i'm pretty sure that the site itself if they use a guestbook they use a PHP one and not a remotly hosted on by alxnet :) but like i said, i'm not sure what you are talking about :)

Why don't you just find a site that lets you approve the post before they go on the board? Is is a guestbook or what? I have a little site that I made through geocities, and I get to preview & approve/disapprove all posts.
