eh with that poll it adds an ugly border and it plugs the site

the plug you'll have to keep, the border you can get away by removing the border codes and add border="0"

it's either the one or the other i'm afraid :) unless you can use PHP on your website you will have to stick with bravenet.com or pollhost.com

how do you make the background transparent

yeah lol i can use PHP, on alomost every host you can

not really :) most hosts don't allow PHP
unless you can change that in your bravenet account (from the poll) you can't make that area transparent because it's a script and no table/div.

but if you are sure your host allows php then check www.hotscripts.com
for some pollscripts

That music code does not work it still plays right away when you click on the i want you to have to click play for the music to start
