Does anyone know a message board similar to phpbb message boards, but that doesnt require mySQL? i like to be on my site and not remotely hosted

I know a free forum if you are interested, it doesn't require you to make Databases or MySQL or PHP really, the address is http://www.1-2-free-forums.com . It is really great, but it has a bunch of adds and stuff but other than that, they are pretty easy and reliable to operate. Check it out! :)

i want a forum that i can host on my own site not a remotely hosted one. that means not like proboards and boards like that.

I remember Ikonboard having a flat-file database version available for their forum software. It seems their community has been dead for awhile now since Invisionboard popped up. You can check them too and see if they have a non-mysql version.

i think you kinda have to have a db.
