If I were to modify my registry to get rid of the recycle bin on the desktop, how would I be able to access it o.O

I forgot how to erase the recyle bin, but i do know how to get to the regestry, if that is what you need to know. Be careful when editing things in your regestry because it may mess up your computer. Try to put a backup on a CD or floppy (I forgot how to make a backup too, so i cant help you on that). Anyway, Go to Start>Run and type "regedit" (without the quotes, of course).

What I ment is, how would I access the recycle bin if I take it off the desktop?

If you take it off your desktop it will still be on your computer. Deleting the actuall Icon doesn't get rid of it all together..

right click on it, click on "create shortcut", then drag the shortcut to the "start" button and then you can find it in the start menu. then delete the shortcut from your desktop.
