aerith86 12-29-2004, 04:48 AM SuperChick is pretty good, I don't know who else has heard of them.
tokyo bleu 12-29-2004, 04:59 AM Creed. Well, they were a bit religious if you exclude the times the leader got drunk and stuff. I'm agnostic, but Creed has wicked music.
oincubusx 12-29-2004, 05:08 AM wasnt P.O.D a christian band for a lil while?
Ayosu_Ling 12-29-2004, 05:08 AM I don't really care for religious music. I mean, there are a lot of Christian Rock Bands and stuff. But I wanna see some Bhuddist rock bands. and some Muslim rock bands. I dunno why, but rock music needs some more religious diversity. lol.
oincubusx 12-29-2004, 05:22 AM lol true thatd be awsome to hear some bhuddist rock!
heh but i think that rock is fading out of the music scene witch sucks! i mean everyone is listening to pop.... what the heck is pop anyways? i think its just a person whining!

tokyo bleu 12-29-2004, 07:05 AM heh but i think that rock is fading out of the music scene witch sucks!
Uh, wow, that's one outrageous statement. Rock fading out? Rock's been around for years and it's still here.
oincubusx 12-29-2004, 07:07 AM i know... but pop/hiphop are slowly over riding rock... dont get me wrong rock is the best music out there but thats what i think...
Rickyhos 12-29-2004, 07:13 AM I don't listen to them, but switchfoot is ok.
tokyo bleu 12-29-2004, 07:24 AM but pop/hiphop are slowly over riding rock...
All genres of music are too broad to override each other. Consider pop-punk (Good Charlotte, The Ataris, etc.), it's like a combination of style. And then there's Jay-Z teaming up with Linkin Park, who happens to be rap-metal. Too many subgenres to consider overriding. ;)
But if you mean like MTV in a way, maybe, though they give rock playtime too. It's not that I don't get what you're saying, but perhaps you're talking about society's taste in general?
