I've been having some problems with my computer's resolution these past days. A few days ago, I changed my resolution to 800x600 to test a layout. (My res is set at 1024x768) When I finished, I set my resolution back to 1024x768. The next day, when I turned my computer on, it was set at 800x600. And ever since that day, when I turn it on, my computer displays the 800x600 res, even though it was set at 1024x768 before. :confused: I really dont know what to do...
Any help is appreciated. ^_^;;

This might sound stupid, but have you been doing the proper shutdown?

Sorry for the double post >_>;
I did Windows Update (Tuesday) and installed everything, thinking it would help. Yesterday, when I turned the computer on, it didnt change my resolution. I thought it was fixed...but today, when I turned it on, it was back at 800x600. This is really baffling.. Ive tried everything I could think of and have done virus scans as well (nothing found) :confused:

Two more questions. Is it win xp? If you have multiple users then do they have same resolution?

Then it cant be it: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups/reader.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.windowsxp.general&tid=a525085d-75ac-42f1-8e22-3cc507ed38f7&cat=en-us-ms-winxp&lang=en&cr=US&sloc=en-us&m=1&p=1
But as far as I read some other posts then SP2 might mess things up too.
