'lo. I've searched for all posts regarding .htc files--and my problem didn't really apply...or else I'm just too confused as always

I've downloaded free layouts, etc. that use .htc files that work fine whenever I upload them to my site, and I don't have a freeserver, so that's not a problem.

--But does the file have to be downloaded on to your computer for it to work? Because I've tried everything! Any advice would be appreciated--thanks!

If they work on the site... what's the problem?

no you only have to upload them (ALL the files, zo zip files should be unzipped etc) and link them on your site with those codes etc and they should work fine
