Hmm, just a pointless little curiousity thread-
I was wondering, how many prefer your pajamas to your clothes?
Like me, for example, if I'm not going anywhere I would stay in my pajamas all day. I love my pj's :P But some people I know change into normal clothes as soon as they get up. What kind are you?

I stay in my PJ's as long as possible :P I've also been known to get up, shower, and get back into my jammies. I'm such a bum.

PJ's, all the time if I could :D I wear jaens for work though. :lol: I can definitely be found in my PJ's at classes and such, so I chose YES, all the time :buckt:

I love my PJs, pyjama day at school is the only "spirit day" I ever really participate in :P I need more though, I only have 2.5 pairs that actually fit me... I'd stay in them all day except for the constant nagging around the house for me to get dressed :grouch:

I get dressed about twice a week :lol:

haha, that's me. I love my pajama's. I'm certainly known to go entire days without wearing real clothes even though I often shower as soon as I get up. I would wear them to school as well, but my mum won't let me.

They're nice and comfy but then I'll -eventually- shower and change to shorts :P

If I have nowhere to go and nothing to do I wear my PJ's all day :P I asked for pajamas for christmas. My pajama pants always get ripped somehow... It starts off as a small hole and progresses.

I actually usually only where pj bottoms and a tshirt, because I never have a matching top/bottom thing since I go through the pants way faster.

I've never gotten into the whole matching pants + tshirt thing.. a white tee matches everything :D I usually get my pj pants from Target :)

im a t shirt pj bottem person too... i have some rocken Dr pepper pants...(from target ;) lol)

I wear a mix of pajama pants, cheer shorts, t-shirts, and tank tops.

Fake silk pajamas are so comfty! The kind that's made of polyester but feels smooth like silk. Anyways, I have a pair of those and I love them! I also like wearing big T-shirts with bottoms. Yes, I love matching! :D

I wouldn't mind staying in my PJ's all day. Quite comfortable. I would be a bit embarrassed even though I've done it on stage in an acting performance we did... (long story)... Anywho, I'm homeschooled, and not once in my life have I went to my home school in my PJ's... There aren't any rules about dress codes... So I suppose I could do it.... :P

yeah, pj's are the most comfortable type of clothing ever!!! i mean as soon as i put on my pj's i wanna snug up :)

I like my Pj's, i got some silk ones, my mum bought them after my 13th birthday, their really comfortable

silky ones are apparently very good for your skin but i prefer the soft cotton type ones, they are warmer and add to the cosyness. thinking about it pj's should come in a set with (1) hot water bottle (2) fluffy slipper (3) cup of hot coco and an option night growny thing!!!

i love pajamas....they're more comfortable than regular clothes, but when i'm not wearing them i'm wearing jeans...

But, my mom was silly enough to think that I would wear pajamas that are tiger skinned with pink frill. That I will not wear. But, comfy ones... sure :D

lol, seriously? Those tiger skinned pajamas sure do sound pretty silly.

Pajamas are the best. I like to stay all day in my pajamas just being a bum. Sometimes I wear them to my relatives or to the store if I'm feeling particularly lazy.

mostly after a long day of school when i come home i put on my pajama trousers :) I love it *hugs pajama* and when i'm off and i have no plans for that day i wear the pajama as long as i can untill i have to go walk the dog offcourse ... although sometimes i just change trousers but still have my half pajama on :P nobody will see it anywayz under the coat haha

I prefer nightgowns myself. I have this one that is ugly as sin but is sooo comfy. I love it.

I thought this thread was about something else - for Sinterklaas, my niece asked for 'Pajama Sam' some computer game. To my knowledge, the proper spelling of nightwear is 'pyjamas' - so I figured this thread was about that computer game, and I was curious to find out more about the game and decided to view this thread :lol:

As for pyjamas, when I was a little girl, I had a lot of health problems, so I would spend up to 3 months per winter in bed with fever and asthma-attacks. That made me associate pyjamas during the day with being sick - I hate wearing them during the day, and even when I'm ill, too ill to go out, I still want to wear regular clothes to get rid of the associations with the long sick beds I had as a child. So for me, they are strictly night-wear.

(p.s., I don't have those asthma-attacks any more these days - not like when I was little, I'm soooooo much healthier now! :D)

That's a sad story. I know what it's like to get astma attacks. I'm glad your healthier now.

that's okay, I'm still enjoying my good health, I think I probably appreciate it more than most people do :D

I love my flannel jammies, but I won't wear the matching top if I'm sleeping over someone's house - it's too embarassing :lol: I'll just bring an old t-shirt instead.

Of course I can't wear flannel over the summer, so I switch to my not-really-silk jammies. They're so comfortable, but they can get really cold... yay for blankets.

hey! I'm Canadian :D but then again, I've only ever seen it spelt "pajamas" so...I'm being influenced!
I don't really care about matching my pj's, but I like to have it somewhat matched. currently my favourite pair is a pair of blue fleece jammy bottoms with white polkadot-flower thingies....and a t-shirt that says "sleepy" on the front and "good night" on the back. :rolleyes:
In summer though, I go for boxers and a tanktop all the way. :buckt:

lol i LOVE my jammies!!! but my mum n dad always moan at me to get dressed, if im on my computer n its freezing then il wear them :D but when im downstairs i get moaned at :( lol btw i totally agree with the person who said *hugs jammies!* lol :D

oh ye i asked for jammies for xmas too lol, littlemiss naughty silk ones :P lol i luv them!!!
