I had a job interview this morning, they told me they wouldn't get back to me until the first or second week of January, and now they called me back to say they've talked about it, and decided not to wait to meet the other applicants, they want me to work for them - I am sooooooooooooo happy!!!!!!!!!

yeah, I'm so happy!
I will be earning 20 - 25% less than I did at my last job, but then I did not have a steady job, no security really, no pension, no extra's whatsoever - I'd much rather have more job security and less money - and the pay is still not bad, for this country. So yes, if I wanted, I probably could buy you all a domain LOL. But I think I'll be spending my money on a holiday to Thailand and a new kitchen instead :D
It's really not so much about the money, we don't even need my salary, it's more about a sense of identity, I dunno, I just could not be happy if I didn't have a career of some sorts, and I like seeing other people during the day - the cats are not all that talkative really, it gets a little lonely at home, I'd really much rather work. I was literally crying with joy when I heard :D :D :D

yeah, if only I had known that my unemployment would only last a month, I would actually have enjoyed it!
now I actually had a pretty rotten month, I was so afraid that I would not find something. I was unemployed between mid 2000 and end of 2002, and I guess that made me fear unemployment forever.
So yeah, Father X-mas does exist, and got me just the thing I wanted :D

I will start just after New Year. I still think I'm gonna wake up from this dream any minute! :D
