Is it true that those who don't take the trouble to work part time during the holidays or while waiting for your results are considered lazy and bad? :rolleyes:

I don't think so

Holidays are for having some free time and you should enjoy it.
But if you need the money, then offcourse you could get a job, its not lazyness, but more "do i have enough money" i think.

i agree with sphere. i think you should enjoy the hoidays. later on in life you wont be able to take time off to enjoy the festivities, make the most of it all now :) merry christmas

Sure you need to take time off, but you have to pay for it somehow. Nothing wrong with working a little during the holidays, and there's nothing wrong with scooting out of work early to do some shopping ;)

I'm too lazy to work during holidays :P I'm almost too lazy to walk my neighbour's dog..haha.

i would work but i don't have a car [or a job ;)]. and i don't believe i'm old enough to work at most places. and i can't drive so a car wouldn't even help me there :lol:

for those of you who don't have to work, or aren't old enough to work, during the holidays, then good for you. I had to get a part-time job for the holidays to make christmas work and let me tell you, it SUCKS! I work at Toys R Us and it is SOOO busy. I can not believe how many people wait until the last minute to buy gifts!

I'm having plenty of fun... Although too bad I'm sick... :(

I work at a restaraunt, and I really like the job, and I couldn't get off for winter break :( So I'm working Christmas Eve and then driving to see my family!! I would rather keep my job than lose it over something so small.. at least I will see my family for Christmas, and I don't work *every* day :D Work isn't all that bad during the break, especially when you get the paycheck! :buckt:

I'm doing both. While I'm off school I have to work almost everyday, but I just haven't been going to school for the last three days. I'm supposed to go to school until the 23rd. I think it's insane so I, and others, are just skipping. Then we get back on the first school day after new years.
