Hi all,

Just wanted to pick your brains on this issue about templates. Should you use templates, be it free or purchased, when you know that it's not exclusive and that someone else could have a site that looks just like yours? Or should you pay the extra price and go for a unique and exclusive template?

What are the pros and cons of a template based website design?

Thanks,
Khemal

if you suck at webdesign but want a nice site, then you should use a template. however, i think that everyone should learn how to design their own websites then you can be sure that yours is unique looking.

You can have much much more comtrole when building a website yourself if it's a template then.. i would say you dident have the same controlw over the website.... when building your own you can descover stuff u may think of new ideas and then add them to the site.. when u have a template ther might be no were to add this extra Whatever it is.. also i get enjoyment out of builing websites from start were you think of ideas chose layouts.. and from the finish
just the fact that you know you created it and you made it good to know
