I decided to go ahead I post my gifts for my person. I hope this isn't wrong... I just do not think I will be able to get on tomarrow and well... it is close enough to the 20th :P. If this is bad... please just delete the thread.

I feel awful about my gifts... they are these little avatars I made in MS Paint. I have a graphic program. But, it is stupid and it doesn't work well. And if I made her some wall papers and stuff they would be pathetic anyways. I also thought these would be more original. If you do not like them I am so sorry.

the person i had for SS hadn't been on either ... not my SS because that was westernrider but the person I had to make a gift for.

So i totally agree ! also people shouldn't be just signing up for this just to 'be part of it'. In years before this aswell many people signed up, but never show their faces on the board untill like 5 days AFTER the due date or something... Oh really i don't care if you are busy etc, but it's a bit rude for the person that made you a gift and you don't show up to see it and thank for it :)

With "you" i referr to people in general.

I think its a real pain when people do tht. They say that they will take part in something, and then they go away for a coupld of months :rolleyes:

Sometimes people can't help...it is unfair and whatnot but its not the end of the world...people end up getting something anyway, i know i've already made a few things for the people who havnt gotten anything yet, so if their santa hasnt turned up soon i'll post those and i'm sure others will too :)

It's a shame we don't have the master list, then we could probably work out who still owed something then check when they were last active etc so see what the chances are that they are going to popup any minute and present their gifticle!

You know what I find a little bit funny. Some people are making avatars for people who are still trying to work their way up to getting an avy. Some just barely managed to get in the arcade. I'm just saying, I think the avatars are cool but I feel a little bit sorry that they're going to have to wait so long.

well, [if they like the avatar(s)] then they have something to encourage them to be an active and helpful member of the forums ;)

i think making something nice that they may not necessarily be able to use now but can use in the future beats making something pointless&ugly that they will probably never use. :)
