My brother bought me a playstation 2 for xmas (it was really unexpected... last year he bought me slippers) So I'm just wondering what some good games are? My favorite playstation 1 games were metal gear solid, resident evil, dino crises, etc. Any recommendations? I don't even know what's out there anymore :P thanks.

The Tomb Raider series is one of my favorites; however, the last one (for PS2) had a ton of bugs (great storyline, though).

May I suggest a pick from the Grand Theft Auto series? ;) But they're rated "M", so I'm not sure if you like stuff like that.

I haven't played a Resident Evil game since PS1, but don't they have a few on the PS2?

The last I don't know a ship dat eyet because I don't want to know it. Kingdom Hearts has changed it's ship date too many times for me to count. One to many days of disappointment. I don't think I could take that from Polyphony too.

The Prince of Persia games are so cool. You get to do all this weird flippy combat. It is like my favorite game of all time.

Yuck... I hate final fantasy. It gets so boring. Oh well... just my opinion.

I totally forgot about that, I was fed intravenously while I beat the Sands of Time. No messy chewing or food gumming up my controllers. I've realized how rusty I am at the original game, though, so it's taking me a while to rebeat that.
