which to you prefere on yourself and on other people?

i used to have really long hair n den i had it cut to my shoulder yesterday, it looks really nice n to be honest i prefere it short, its alot of upkeep when its long.. what do u think?

i prefer short hear for myself, i'm a boy ;)
but i like women with long hair :)

For myself, I like long hair. It's almost to the middle of my back.

For guys, short hair. :D

I like shortish/medium hair on everyone else, but it doesn't work for me, so i voted long.

I used to have long hair until I cut it about medium-ish length 5 years ago, so much nicer to keep it shorter and not have the weight of all that hair. As for other people, I could care less, although guys start to look more and more effeminate the longer they let their hair grow :P

My hair's pretty long. Not REALLY long, but pretty long. It comes about four or five inches below my shoulders.

I had hair down to my waist for quite a long time.. but a year ago I cut, layered and highlighted it. Now it looks so much more prettyful :P I don't mind. I loved my long hair but I like short too...now it's just past my shoulders.

I have longish hair; left normally, it's about an inch below my shoulders. Straighten it, and suddenly, four inches appear out of nowhere...

I think long hair is really pretty, but when it comes to the person with the hair, its a heck of a lot easier to keep it short!

I love long hair...it's just so time consuming and annoying to take care of.

well my hair is shoulder length - which i supose is quite short! it is light brown with new highlights that i had put in for my birthday a couple of weeks back - i dont really like my hair but i dont like hair in general - lol, i am too lazy to do anything with it! :)

My hair is chin length, I prefer short hair on myself, but everyone is different.

i got short hair. On a girl, i dont realyl care how long it is, as long as it looks good on the girl. Lots of times, a hair cut is all it takes.

I have long hair. I used to hate my hair and wore it up in a knot everyday. then I learned a styling secret... don't brush your hair if you have curly frizzy hair like me... and it won't be frizzy! i have not brushed, or combed my hair in over 2 years. I am not exagerating. The only thing that has been run through my hair is my fingers. Here is a pic of how long my hair is.

I like something in the middle... not to short... not too long.

It depends on the person and how their body is put togeather to really say what looks good on them though :P
