Dear Frens,
What would you do or how would you feel if you didn't have the chance to study the course that you want?

i would be very very very upset AT FIRST, then i would try and work around it. maybe try another establishment that also did the course or maybe do another course which is simular.

i am sorry that you didnt get in, what was it that you didnt get in to? how come you didnt get in? if they didnt tell you why then that must be really annoying for you.

i wasnt allowed to do law at college - i was really gutted, but then i took up geography and i love it :)

see if you can work round it, good luck :D

It's happened to me a few times, but only with elective courses. So no big deal.. yet.

Aww, I know how that feels.

I was supposed to take Psychology and French III this year, and I got bumped into Spanish I and FLES (foreign language in elementary schools). Turns out I'm even more nuts about Spanish than I ever was for French!

Freaky things happen, I hope everything works out in your case. :)

It doesn't matter what you get. It only matters if you know that the person put in much time and effort in getting it for you.

I'd push the office staff. Heck, I'd bug them UNTIL we come to a good compromise. That's what I did before 9th grade started. I wanted to take Conversational Japanese, but they put me in Conversational Spanish because of trimester difficulties, but I would not stand for it. We eventually settled on Conversational French, which was a very enjoyable class. Plus, it really matters to me because my parents are paying over $10,000 a year for my tuition so I believe I should at least get the courses I want.

Thanks guys..Well, I was thinking of doing Multimedia but now, I maybe taking up Corporate Communication. Something like copywriting, electronic media....and I don't know whether i will like it. It's really hard for me coz if I don't like the course I won't do well in it. Yes, you are so right, I am the world's most stubborn person.
You know, this kind of situation is like getting married with a person you don't love. Ha..ha..

If you really want to take the course, talk to the professor. S/he may be able to fit you in he sees you're sincerely interested in taking the course. Then again, I don't know how large your school is. We only have 2,000 students, so it's not a big deal.

He can probably put you on a waiting list, in case someone drops the course.
