Okay. I'm kind of lost. I keep seeing a similar style on all of these websites but I can't figure out what these designs are. They're like colored text boxes that work sort of like an iframe in that links are displayed ontop of them. But they can be very long and sometimes without a scroll bar.

Are these all made with the same codes? Are they tables or inline frames, or maybe inline frames ontop of tables?

They take a thin slice of the background (the 'textareas') and have it repeat down the page. Then they positon the text with divs....
