One of my first made in photoshop 7. I think it either looks like a weird spiral type thing or a vinyl (record) being spun with some dust on it..

ill give it a 5/10 because it doesnt have much init. try adding hue.saturation (press ctrl+u then select colorize and play around with it)

I'd say its a bit simple... i would add more effects... for your first pretty nice though. Starting with photoshop was pain...
