there's no way to prevent people from stealing things. Either they can find it into their TEMP files or they simply take a screenshot of it.

The best way to prevent it is to not put it online at all.

I know theres no way of preventing them from stealing stuff, but I just want to know how to get rid of ctrl+c. The person who's stealing my stuff (shes the only one im concerned about) has basically no knowledge about website stuff. She don't even know what TEMP files or screenshots are (well, neither do I but thats okay). She only knows to right click and paste or ctrl+c and paste. PLZ HELP. thanx!

Even if your website stealer doesn't know where the TEMP files are or doesn't know how to take a screenshot, I'm sure she can still highlight, then go up to Edit>Copy even if the right click and Ctrl+C are disabled.

I don't think there is a way to disable it, but you can also stop them from highlighting 2 :)

But they can probably still use CTRL + A to select all, or use select all from the edit menu.

There is no way to stop people from copying your website. As Mirna said, If you don't want it to get stolen, don't put it on the internet.

can't u disable the right click! with javascript
very very low security measure. easily bypassed these days.

essentially, there have been some methods to disable certain keyboard keys, but they are not discussed. if something starts "going wrong" with my keyboard or other things while i am on the computer, then my first thought is virus or the likes. not something i would want to get into.

the only way to prevent stuff from being taken is to not put it on the internet. by putting something in view of the entire world...

if it is a large problem, send emails to their host provider and their account may be affected for "stealing" information.
