Hiya! Ok I need some help, I can't figure out how to make my layout work on everyone's screens, cos it works on mine but mine is 1024x768 and lots of people's is 800x600, if ya get what I'm on about, so I can see the whole image but they can't. Is there any way so that everyone can see?

I know what you mean. I tried doing the percent table thing to adjust the pic automatically but that pic is an image map and doing that made all the links wacko. I didn't know how to fix that so I just made sure it looked okay in at least 800 x 600 - no horizontal scroll bar. Anybody looking at it in 640 x 480 can kiss my you know what.

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but I had the same problem. On my new website, I found out that many things don't show on a smaller screen, so I made an alternet link on the front page for people with a smaller screen, and modified everything so that it would look better on a smaller screen. So basically here's (http://www.angelfire.com/art2/doodleplex/) what I did to help people with smaller browsers. However, I was able to fix this problem because I use angelfire. You might not be able to, but I hope I was able to help you out somewhat.

i always make the layout itself for 800x600 but the background for 1024x768 (size would be 1003 width) so that when you have higher resolution you still see a 'finished' layout. The background doesn't make the scrollbar appear, it just shows till 780 width and that's it
