Ok...how do I know exactly what my local host is, because I know there are a few different paths I could put, so how do I know what the right one is?

For what ? FTP?

mostly the ftp adress would be ftp.yourdomain.com BUT in some cases it is differently but if so your host should have emailed you the adress.

I'm trying to set up a mb and it needs the path to my local host, so I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to put...I don't know what I'm doing wrong because it's telling me it can't connect to the database...I'm just having problems...heh.

If you're using a mySQL database, and it asks you for the path to the server, there's a 99% chance that you won't have to change it, keep it at localhost.
