Sorry for the rubbish title :(

Ok number 1...in both IE and FF the right box (with navigate and rules in it) is pushed down slightly...i'd like it to start at the same point the other 2 boxes do and i can't work out why it doesn't

Number 2...i'd like the boxes to stretch to the same height as whichever is the longest box, if you view it in FF that is what it does, but in IE the boxes only go as far as their individual content requires them to.

Any help would be appreciated :)

just to add one more problem (sorry, no fixes yet)...
using FF1, i notice the contents of all the columns are going beyond (past) the end of their colored columns at the bottom.

for your problem #1, i think it may have to do with using FLOAT. that property seems to have some odd results at times.

ok it is fixed or do i not see it. It looks the same in IE and Netscape (yeah so i don't have ff :P)

yup, just finished fixing it up (sort of)
Dont even know how i fixed the first problem...just by messing with it.

The second one i cheated and just added some <br />s to the shorter boxes...which works for that page...but any of the subpages that have longer content than the plugboards box currently is...then the smaller boxes arent going to be long enough...so i still need a proper fix for it :(

Third problem...well i just installed the newest version of FF and what you described isnt happening for me, so i either accidentally fixed it or...i'm just not seeing it, is it still like that for you PB&J?

edit: scrap numero 3...i see it now, the content of the left box on the test2.html page goes outside its box :(

yup. here is my view in FF1 and 800x600 screen...

Right...i've given up on getting all the boxes the same length, its just not possible in both browsers so its minus the overflowing content thing.

I think i've fixed it so theres no horizontal scrollbar in 800x600.

I think i've fixed the overflowing problem, in my firefox the only bit that was overlapping was the left box, the other 2 were fine...but i see from your screencap it was happening in all the boxes so i cant really be certain its fully fixed...is it ok now for you?
