Hi, I've been trying to make a large header that actually looks good for my page in photoshop 7, but when I click 'new' and try and enter a larger amount, it won't go any larger then a certain amount. I have tried this with pixles and inches and CM's. Also, How would somone do the header/navagation bar on the top and left CONNECTED like it is done on this page: http://computersmarts.com/? How did they put that text there... Wouldn't you think that it would think that all of the text below and to the right of those header/left bar should go below the image? How do you classify the image to be such a strange shape? Thanks.

Never mind about the not being able to make the large header... It just automaticly zoomed out so it oculd fit on the screen... Thanks anyway... I STILL WANT TO KNOW ABOUT: "Also, How would somone do the header/navagation bar on the top and left CONNECTED like it is done on this page: http://computersmarts.com/? Thanks so much for all the help (in other areas) everyone.

just so you know in the title of the new image you can see "30%" for instance. That means the document is viewed at 30% and not 100% (full size). on that you can see if the image is viewed full size or not :)
the title is just on the image, that is probably made in either PSP or PS. The shape is just made on the image aswell. Just leave the parts white so that they blend in with the page.
You can look at their source to see how they build the page etc. Just looking though ;)

Thanks,
One thing I didn't understand about what you said is the part about, "leave the parts white so that they blend in with the page". If I make a large square and I made a header/side bar like they did, Then how would I get the text to the right of it without making the text part of the image (they didn't have to)? I didn't think thats what the frames they were useing were for.
Thanks again!

I'm not sure if frames are what they used, but frames can definately be used for layouts like that. I think you can also use CSS, but I'm not positive on that.
