Hi,
I created this web-page offline at first.
Now I've uploaded it and all the pictures to Yahoo Geocities and its not the same as it was.
Heres what its supposed to look like:What I want my page to look like (http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-10/860921/MyPage.jpg)(This is a picture of the page)
But this is what Yahoo Geocities is showing it as:Yahoo Geocities Page View (http://www.geocities.com/blackpearlfox20@btinternet.com/elves.html)
Where has the table gone!!?
And yet even if I save the page again on notepad, it shows it how its supposed to!?
Is this something to do with Geocities?! Or have I put something wrong in the code, I can't see anything.
The source code is exactly the same on all the pages.

the pictures that aren't showing up are because they are linked to your c: drive.
Same for your style sheet:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="C:\My Documents\WEB\EEstyle.css">
<img src="C:\My Documents\WEB\buttons\but_dwarves.gif">
etc..

Nope, not what the problem was (though it was a silly little problem I hadn't noticed, so thank you for helping me with that!!
Even if I had put invalid address for the images, it would still show the text within the table and where the images should be, but they just don't appear. Its as though the table has just disappeared?!! I find it very odd!

it is your comment tags.
example...
<!-- FIRST PICTURE START--!>
see that ! towards the end? delete it. do that for all of your comments so it looks like this now...
<!-- FIRST PICTURE START-->
after those are all fixed, your page should be better viewed.

Ahh pb&j, you've saved me twice! Any chance you can save me one last time?
That seemed to solve the problem, now Im having a new one!
When I view the site, only some pictures load. the background image tends not to load. If I refresh a few more pictures might load, but still not all the site pictures will show.
Is my html causing this? maybe I've done a few scripting errors or errors in the order of things?
Maybe you can view it yourself, are you getting the same problem? My Site (http://www.geocities.com/elavielevenstar/elves.html)
Thank you again for your help :)

in FF most of the images showed so i guessed IE may be the culprit and yup it was. kinda odd, usually it is the other way around.

currently, both FF and IE are showing the images just fine. i am on ADSL connection, so if you are on slow dialup, that may be a cause.
your coding seems to be ok.
perhaps you fixed the problem already?
