um...ok, hi i'm elly.... does anyone know how to get an avi file online... not just the code, but how to transfer it from your server to the inet [w/o using a ws_ftp]????????

you will need ftp to transfer it to the internet. If you don't want to use a program then open your internet window and type:

ftp.youradress.com
above should be the ftp adress you get from your host

then log in and you will see your folders and files etc just like you see your harddrive stuff (the same style). Then open another window and go to your .avi file. select it, hit ctrl+c and go to the ftp window. Then hit ctrl+v and it will upload the file.

i hope that answers it. You will need some kind of FTP to upload it, otherwise you can't get it online
