I am new to this so forgive me if I do not use the right terms. I have all the codes/scripts for the falling snow and stars and sparkelies. What I would like to know is there anyway to have them just in the header instead of falling over your whole web page? Thank - You in advance. PamBreeze :star:

I guess... I am not really sure. My son tried to clean it up for me and make it easier so I have the indexpage then script.txt then script_body.txt then script_head.txt. This is my first time attempting anything like this. My son usually helps me but he went away for a few days. I hope this is what you were asking me.

What you could do is have 2 frames on your site, one as the top part that you want the sparklies to fall in, and the other where your content is.

That sounds like a good idea but I am not sure if I would know how to do that. This is all so new to me and there is a lot I do not understand. It is real confusing and very frustrating at times.
I am using DreamWeaver MX to do my web site. It is not too hard to understand. My son set up the basics for me and I have been looking up and adding the stuff I find that I think is cool.
Most of the stuff is straight forward and the places I have gotten them explained where to put them and stuff ,so that was not too much of a problem. There were a few things that I tried that I could not make work so I just gave up...no biggie. But I really like the sparkles and I thought they would dress up my site. I just do not like them all over my web page.
Maybe I should come up with a new idea. One that is not so involved. Or I could just wait till my son gets home. I was just trying to do as much as I could on my own so we could work on adding my stuff after he came back.
Yea I have a web site with no content... Cool Huh???
Well thanks anyway for taking the time to respond to my question.
Hopefully this gets easier for me soon......I hope. :)

Unfortunatly, I cannot tell you how to make frames in Dreamweaver. But, that is really the only way I can see that you will be able to have sparkles only falling on part of your page is to divide the site into 2 frames. I do know that Dreamweaver has an option add frames tho so maybe search the help feature in the program?

if it is unclear let me know, i could try explaining it since i had this in my computer class last year. I just have no time right now to explain it so that's why i posted the link to the tutorial first :)

Thanks for the site. However I really do not want to use frames so I guess I will have to forget that idea. Thanks again anyway. :cheer: PamBreeze
