How could you hide all the past updates without clicking the 'hide' key for every single blog? Is there any html for it?

highly doubtful any html would be able to help your situation.

perhaps read over the HELP or FAQ parts of your blog or contact the blog site/creators.

not sure which blog you are using but a lot of them have the option to only show the past x number of posts.
