I want my own web-design, either made by myself or someone else. Anyway, how exactly would I go about uploading it into my website so I can actually use the design?

most hosts prefer you use an FTP program to transfer webpages and images onto your online area from your computer.

Pardon me for asking but how would I get an FTP program to do that? Would I need a host that allows it?

I haven't seen a host who doesn't allow ftp..
For FTP I'd suggest SmartFTP, you can download it from www.smartftp.com

Go to CSS they have loadsa posts like yours

after you upload it, just replace the urls, with the new ones

Many free hosts, like 0catch, or Angelfire (Geocities?) have File Transfer Protocol built into them anyways.

What host are you using?
