ok, I post somethin about domain name here once and there's a peson ell me to make sure that I'm the owner of it. Well, I email them to ask about that and they reply this
"Dear Customer,

When you purchase a domain name there are two parties involved:

The owner: you.
Admin contact: One2Host.

The owner can change Admin contact.
Admin cannot change The owner.
The owner only has all rights on domain name, for example changing name servers, changing admin contact, etc.

You need to go at:
http://www.one2host.com/cgi-bin/com/acewhois_int.cgi
and check your domain for availabilty. If it is available, you will provided
with a link to place your order

Thank you

One2host Team"

Does that mean I'm the owner? I don't really understand when they talk about admin contact and stuff. Can someone help me out?

Are they registering the domain for you? You will be the owner, just like they said. You can change it so you are the main point of contact. Buyer beware, I haven't heard many positive posts about One2Host.

Please post all of your questions onto one thread, it's so much easier to keep track of, and it doesn't clutter the board, thanks.

ok sorry, I'll try to get them all in one post next time :)
You haven't heard many positive posts about One2Host, have you heard any negative? they give a really cheap price.

Click on the 'source' link that I mentioned in the above post, you'll read probably more bad things than good. Ultimately, WHT doesn't have the final say in whether a host is good or not, but when the customers come in and give their experiences, it's worth a lot, especially when it's your money. Always remember that you get what you pay for.

I'm sure it's okay, as long as they pass the domain to your name. And give you the control to whomever they registered it with. Have they registered it already?

no, not yet.
what if one day I don't want to buy the domain from them anymore and buy it from a difference place. Can I just cancel them?

once they've registered it, if it's in your name, you can transfer the domain to any other registrar you want to update it. they'll register it for once, and it's yours for that year. then you can use whatever company you want to re-register it. so you can't really 'cancel' it- once its done its done. so you wouldnt be able to cancel it in 6 months and get half your money back or anything like that, if that's what you're asking :)

hope that made sense :)

and the above is only for domain registration, right? not hosting, also?

yeah, the above is just for domain, not hosting.
thanks for all your help!
