Hey... I installed FireFox and when I did, it imported all my favorites from IE. Well, I still use IE for some things and I have saved favorites in IE since I installed FireFox. Does anyone know how to import favorites from IE to FireFox other than the initial installation?

Also, where are the FireFox favorites stored at? I know for IE, there is an actual folder... but I couldn't find a folder like that for FireFox.

Anyways, the second thing isn't that important, I just really wanna know the first! Thanks!

in firefox,
click on bookmarks,
manage bookmarks,
file,
import.

file is located here...
C:/WINDOWS/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/default.xxx/bookmarks.html

Hmm... I don't have that Application Data Folder in my WINDOWS folder.

Anyways... It seems that FireFox won't import the default "Links" folder from IE... or anything in it... It will only import folders that I made...

isnt the LINKS folder the one that appears automatically when you do an update or install or whatever and contains useless bookmarks to media and stuff?

any important stuff in that one, just move over to your "made" folders and go forward.

good luck!

Yeah, but I deleted all that crap and put like my general uncategorized links in there... since every time I deleted the folder, it kept coming back I figured I'd put it to use. Anyways, I never thought of just making a new folder for them! DERRR!!! Thanks pb&j! Always so helpful!
