K my problem is getting my flash intro to work!

I got a flash intro that i really like! and it came with 2 files....'index' and 'index1'. 'Index1' is the html file where you change it to your home page, so that when you open 'index' it will load the flash intro and then when you click on "enter site" it will direct you to 'index1'(your home page). So I think i got it all figured out and then I got to test it out and upload it to webspace using Tripod HTML Editor and then I got to preview it and all it is, is a white box(where the intro is supposed to load). So Im like errrrr, so I go back to my documents(where my index files are)and i double click 'index' file to see if it works and it does! So it only works on my computer, even if I were to copy and paste that file to...say my desktop, it wouldnt work, only the ORIGINAL file works for some reason. I know I am doing something wrong, this is my first website I have made with a flash intro so I am not to familiar with them or the file types. I'm not to sure what it is that's wrong and I really really need someones help, once I can get that to work then my site will be up and running in no time! If anyone has experienced this and know what to do or how to fix it, it would be greatly appreciated!

check your links...

it sounds like you have something like C:\My Documents\flashmovie.swf

If index1.html is your homepage. You'll have to make an index3.html to put your index2.swf file on. Make sense. Or in other words you need to make a splash page and put the flash file on there. Then have a link to your main site from there. Is that what your looking for? :)
