hello i was wondering for my webmastering class I need to make a website with an icon and like banners........ and i have noo clue i wanted to make a banner of colombia using a pic i took while i was down there.... And so i was wondering how wud i do that and have real working links??? plz help

a banner is simply an image. no links required. use any image program to size it to the size you like.

if you want to add images, then you can do an image map thing to it or use the image as a background and put links "on top" of it.

I have animation shop 3, so if ur looking for like... quick banners, that can make them for u. Sometimes their cute, just depends. The effects are very limited tho. *shrugs* U can do the free download on http://www.jasc.com/ if u wanna try it out.

I would recomend pixia for a graphics editor that;s free because it's easy to use and stuff...
And it does cool things.
So you could make a banner with that...

I know a site that is completely FREE coz i use it all the time, and u don't have to downlopad anything either. It is creatingonline.com , they give you free banners of you choice that you can make, you can make your own graphics own there, and there is loads of generaters aswell, and its mega simple
