Hey, I'm new around here, so hello to everyone!!!

My question is this: I have made a really great (in my opinion) background, and I have made up the code for an image map using coffeecup image mapper. The thing is, because my image map is my background, I can't use iframes over the top. For some reason they appear down the bottom... So - my overall question is... how do you have an image map on your background. If you can't, whats an alternative?

Anyway, If someone could please help me out here!!

Here's the address of my site:
http://www.angelfire.com/goth/tabularasa

If someone could check that out and look at my html that would be great! Thanks

didley

(If you want me to post the html here then just tell me and I will, its just very long thats all)

Image maps cannot be placed in the "background". They are like any other image or text. They are "above" the background picture or color.

The alternative is to create a workable layout with the image mape as part of it.

As for your coding, it seems good so far. You have a </head> tag at the end that should be deleted. Its proper place is near the starting of your coding...

<html>
<head>
<title> Your Title Here </title>
</head>
<body>
Most of your coding here.
</body>
</html>

Good luck!

Just divide the image into 2 or 4 pieces.
