On that site, how did she get "Stacy" Outlined in pink on her photos? I use photoshop, and what i've been doing to achieve a similar effect is simply outlining the desired text pixel by pixel, but that can become tedious. Is there any short cut?
On the same site, how does she get that light pink bar through the picture (the one that says http://intheroad.net/stacy)? Rember that I'm using photoshop.
THanks a bunch

Ok for this you need to use a 'Layer Style'. Simply write up your text on it's own layer, go to Layer > Layer Style > Stroke and play around with the settings in there :D

well for that you just need to have the pic you want to put over you pic on the layer above it, the hard part ofcourse is making the pic to begin with, try just mucking around with anything and everything and doing some tuts aswell until you get the hang of it, once you know what your doing all this stuff really is quite simple to do ^_^
THanks a bunch

when I go to layer, photoshop doesn't have layer style :-/. If layer style is in a later version of photoshop, I might not be able to do it because I'm using 5.5.

hehe, what do you mean by mucking around, and tuts? I understand that I have to use a new layer, but I guess my question was more of how do i actually make the bar?
Again, thank you for you help!

Edit for above post: I actually found the stroke option. For me it's not under layer>layer style, it's under edit>stroke
I still don't know how how to make that bar though :/

Lol, your welcome. And by mucking around I mean just not really trying to make anything, just trying out all of the tools and see what you can make, and by tuts I mean tutorials, a good site is www.good-tutorials.com, even a couple of mine on there ^_^
